Lagniappe-A little extra

The presentation is a work in progress, but is a culmination of past work I was able to teach when I was in a K-12 setting. I had Miss Hahn's First grade class construct sinusoids of different frequencies using: A roll of paper held on a wall with one student moving a crayon straight up and down, while another student unrolled the paper as different speeds; Miss Hahn was special. Else, the lesson plans below start off with Language, i.e., predicate logic, with the first example: "What's the opposite of 'All dogs pee on fire hydrants' ?". Start this in Sixth grade. Let them carry the Language Mathematical Predicates from then on. Most of the plan was written by a student from The Louse S. McGehee school in New Orleans. It was previously taught at Jesuit and St Amant High Schools in New Orleans and Gonzales, Louisiana.
